I thought that was fairly entertaining…you may not have.

After struggling through the last two weeks, I’ve finally caught up with life. It’s really amazing how fast things can get away from you when you’re working hard and don’t feel like you have the energy to keep up. Not that my last two weeks have been anything amazing, it’s more of a mental outlook on things. I hated my project manager and the project was being run so poorly that it was just sucking the drive out of me. Anyway, that’s over now and I’m back to sitting on the bench, collecting back all the pieces of my life that needed to be put back into place.

Unlike this wrecked Tesla Roadster, I’ve been able to put things back together, get my finances in line and take care of lots of random stuff around the house.
Dagny and I have been going to the dog park every day, and that’s been enjoyable. She’s getting a bit more adventurous when it comes to playing with other dogs. It usually takes around 15 minutes for her to settle into the groove, find a dog that’s smaller than her, and flop onto her back and wait to get mauled. It’s a funny thing to watch. I’ll have to bring a camera to record her being a fool.
Melissa has been in Arizona for the past 4-5 days, so it’s just been me and Dag around the house. Because I’m not on a project this week, I’ve been hanging out at the house more than I typically would have been. Needless to say, there is some tidying up to do before Melissa gets home this evening.
So my car…my car…hmmm.. what do I say? The car itself has been running great. I got the oil changed and it’s so nice and smooth, good power, etc…etc..etc.. I replaced the headlights with some HID lights. Unfortunatly for me, one of the HID ballasts stopped working. I took out the lights, switched the bulbs and they both work fine, which upset me. It’s easy to get a new HID bulb…not so easy to get a new ballast. I emailed the Ebay company that I got it from and from the manufacturer and neither has gotten back to me. Huge shock there. I’ll have to scout through ebay and see if I can find a new ballast, because I know it’s just a matter of time before I get pulled over and harrassed by the ever plesant Atlanta PD. Oh, and to add insult to the already ailing light situation, both of my front blinkers are out. It’s looking like i may just need to stop over at Autozone and get some new bulbs.
Anyway, I think I’m going to go and troll through Ebay and find me some ballasts.
