Work can be stressful
Whew... just finished a release at work, and DAMN... it was messy. It was the first time that we released a version of our software that was totally developed by Chris and me. Needless to say, there were some issues and it didn't really go as smoothly as we had hoped. That being said, it is done, and there weren't really any major errors, just little things that need to be fixed, and that's fine. We're going to try to schedule a mid-term release so that we can fix many of the little bugs that are currently plaging the dashboard. But enough about work.
Things have been a little stressful at home, trying to deal with the moving in, finances and all that. Seems like money just keeps flowing out and coming in at a trickle. Of the 5K that I saved up, it's pretty much all gone. I don't really understand how that happened, but I suppose that when you have to totally refurnish your apartment from scratch, pay for moving, and have all sorts of other random expenses it all just adds up. I think this weekend is going to be a quiet one for me, seeing as how I need to save some money and get back into a better way of doing things. I plan on sitting down this weekend and filling in my budget for the month and seeing where my money actually went. I'm sure that it's not going to be pretty, but at the same time, not much has really gone to beer or anything like that, so it shouldn't be tthat bad.
Anyway, it's time to stop blogging...
