That whole sun thing is pretty fucking hot...

Today Laura, Ryan, Fran and I went out to Jones Beach to get a little sun and relax. The morning started off with a phone call from Fran at around 9:20, asking if we could be ready to leave at 10:00 because they didn't want to miss the next train out. Of course, with the cat and his damn ass problem, we ended up being a little late because we had to administer some medicine. But we made it to the train on time and all worked out just fine.

We arrived at Fran's father's house around 11:00, and after a short but friendly reception we were off on our way. We hit up Wendy's for lunch and then finally made our way to the beach.

Overall, it was your typical beach day; lounging around not doing a whole lot. It was nice to get out and be away from the city for a bit too.

Tonight, when we got home, we had to get the cat some laxatives. Apparently, the medicine that we have been giving him was only lubrication, so now we've gotta get him some laxatives so that he can make doo-doo. I am 95% sure that he actually did poo when we got home.... you know.. I just came to the realization that my blog has become a diary about my cat shitting. That's great. Always what I'd hoped it would be come.

Tomorrow evening, after I'm done with work, there is going to be a BBQ at my place with my co-workers coming. Should be a good time. I figured that since they are all from out of town, with it being a holiday weekend, some of them wouldn't really have anywhere to go or anything to do, so I took it upon myself to make a gathering. We'll see how many people actually show. Speaking of which, Laura and I are about to plan it, so I should go and tend to that.

Oh yeah.. I got burned at the beach... damn sun.
