Wow...what happened to my quiet little life?
So today was the first day back at school. It was how do you say...miserable? Well...I don't think that I would actually call it miserable, but it wasn't that great to be back. There were so many little things that I had to do and people that I needed to talk to and worst of all...more loans that I needed to take out.
It's 11:30 right now, and I'm about to head to bed. I never really realized how much I was able to keep up with the news and things with all my time at the old law firm. At the new office, it's all work and no play at all. I like it, but it's hard to get other sorts of things done when they need to be.
Found out that I needed to take out more money. So I think the grand total for my undergrad education (from my pocket...not my parents) is going to be around 50K. Now THAT is miserable. Oh well.
Our house is a total mess. There are three carboys full of beer and we have no clean bottles to fill. I sooooo don't feel like cleaning bottles. Hell... the house needs to be cleaned way way more than bottles and do you see that getting done? Nope. It's still messy. Not to mention hot.
Rent is due. That's another fun treat. At least I got one last big check from the law firm before I left, but I figure that if all goes well that the new staffing place, I should be pretty good with money. Also having Mom and Dad lend me a little cash each month to help pay for expenses in case my job doesn't net me enough money.
So far the new job has been pretty good. They are super fexible with time and such, so that's good. I haven't solidified a schedule yet, but I think I should work full long days on Thursday and Friday's so that'll be good financially. I may take Monday's off though to save me from going back and forth from Columbia and the Upper East Side (my job) too often.
Oh... yeah...and I've been super bad about Blogging too.
I went to Saranac Lake this weekend. That was super fun. I'll have to post up some pictures... but not tonight. Who the hell knows when I'll get around to it. Anyway. Off to bed. It's a school night....damn I've been saying that for the past two years and now it's actually true.
