Seven is Fat...I need to work out.

For me, part of the fun of this blog, is messing around with all the different scripts and really learning it and figuring out how it works. It gives me something to do, and keeps my mind going. Well the other day I started to really mess with it. Screwed something up, so had to load it up from the backup that I made. Fortunately I didn’t lose any blogs, but I did have a day or so where I couldn’t access it. Sorry for those of you that tried while it was down….but anyway, I’m glad to have it back under control and working again.

I’ve actually recovered quite nicely from my blog situation there. I’ve now updated the template and incorporated categories, which should make it a little better sorted anyway. I just gotta go back and mess with the archive and assign categories to the previous 45 entries that I have.

So today I was talking with Laura about the recent changes in my Blog. I was telling her that it was more “user friendly” and she just laughed at me. She said that because I didn’t get anyone coming to it, that it was a pointless endeavor anyway and that no one would be rifeling though my old archives anyway. I suppose there’s some truth in that, but I would like to think that if someone DID want to go and snoop, they would be able to do so with ease.

So tonight I have a job doing security for some Political function at Tavern on the Green in central park. It doesn’t pay all that well, but at least I’ll get some good dinner out of it. It’s tied into working at the US Open at the end of this month, so I figure that it’s a worthwhile thing to do.

So this morning, Laura and I again had a battle with the alarm clock. We set it for 7:00… it goes off…we start to get up …then we hit the snooze. This goes on for maybe 2-3 times. Then we get tired of that, and just set it for 30 minutes later. That doesn’t work either. Eventually we just got up at 8:30 and didn’t go to the gym like we planned. We even went to bed at a reasonable hour last night. Oh well. I suppose we’ll just have to get the determination to do it one morning and stick with it. That’s what it’ll come down to. Hell, when we lived over on Amsterdam on the Upper West Side, we got up all the time and did stuff. Not a problem. Oh well. Maybe I’ll just have to suck it up and start to work out after work some days if I don’t get up.

I need a hair cut.

Seven is fat.
